Introduction
Creativity, what is it? I think creativity is combining the
existing things in a way that creates realization and moves feelings
both in the creator and in the receiver. At it’s best it makes
people stop and forget themselves for a moment and ask – “hold on,
what is this?”
I think all the forms have been already invented. I don’t claim my
work to be pompous, wonderful or sensational inventions. In my
opinion, I combine the existing elements, invented by human beings
or gods, in a new way.

Design and Graphic Design
Graphic design
I have been Graphic Designer since 1994.
During these years I have designed e.g. brochures, announcements,
trademarks, illustrations, graphic profiles, advertising campaigns
and product launches.
I have also made packaging, exhibition stands, sales promotion
products, furniture, interior decorations for offices, apartments
and business facilities.
I have been employed by importers, marketing and advertising
companies etc.
Design
In 2001 I temporarily distanced myself from the advertising business
and started to research the reuse and design of recycled materials.
As a result of this project, tens of lights were designed from the
recycled material. As a natural continuation I then started up, in
the spring of 2005, as a private entrepreneur.
In the mid 1990’s in addition to my advertising work I started to
work on objects collected from junk shops and make lights and
furnishings of them. My eagerness to develop myself guided me to a
new area – What to do with this junk that the world is full of? With
the lights, objects and furniture I bring out my vision of how these
end-of-life-span, emotionally and financially worthless items could
be revitalised by new ideas and little bit of work.
I also try to question and lengthen the life span of commodity
items. By giving an old object a new function I aim to awake the
thought of how creatively a human being can utilise the already
invented wheel. |
